Connectory.com^® Network � the California Network --
contains detailed profiles of California primary industry companies across all industries at every level of the supply chain. The goal is to link California businesses to each other and to provide information about the industrial/technology base of the U.S. largest economy.

This upgraded Connectory application is a direct response to expressed user needs for additional security, more streamlined profile intake/update, vastly improved search capabilities, profile display readability, as well as the requirements of buyers and suppliers.

More enhancements will be coming as part of a spiral development process -- including geocoding of all Connectory profiles, region-specific portals, and information on demand features that will bring opportunities directly to you (if you want them).

Defense Department Researches Connectory for Rapid Identification of Technologies, Sources

In 2004, the Connectory gained attention from federal agencies � including the Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, and the Department of Homeland Security � interested in tapping technologies and suppliers resident in small companies, those located in historically underserved communities, and those that do not typically consider the government market. Starting in July 2004 and continuing through 2007, two federal government contracts using Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) funding have been issued for a joint project with the San Diego State University Research Foundation.
