Welcome to the California Innovation Corridor (CIC) Innovation Asset Mapping Inventory hosted on Connectory.com. The CIC Innovation Asset Mapping Inventory maps innovation assets resident in the 13-county Corridor, public and private, fostering an entrepreneurial, self-organizing environment where cross-pollination and leveraging of resources is encouraged.
The main Connectory.com platform has, for almost 10 years, contained capabilities summaries of California industry and technology companies across all industries at every level of the supply chain.
Thanks to the WIRED grant initiative and the leadership of the California Space Authority, the lead on the CIC WIRED project, the CIC Innovation Asset Mapping Inventory adds capabilities summaries of non-company assets, primarily federal laboratories and university and private research centers and permits segmenting of innovation companies from the main Connectory population.
For purposes of the CIC Innovation Asset Mapping Inventory, the definition of Innovation includes those assets involved in the any of the following:
- Development of New Technology
- Application of an Existing Technology in a new way
- Diffusion of Technology / Services in new industries or across an industry to substantially improve productivity, performance, and market share
Search for Assets by Products, Services, and Capabilities - Assets include companies, federal labs, university and private research centers.
